Ms Papanagnou is a Biologist and PhD candidate in the Faculty of Biology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She is currently working at the laboratory of Molecular-Cellular Ageing and Carcinogenesis and her project is focused on the analysis of proteostasis network regulation during ageing and carcinogenesis. Ms Papanagnou has a lot of experience in the evaluation of extracts and pure compounds for potential bioactivity on both cell culture and in vivo models (Drosophila melanogaster). She has participated in several bioevaluation EU and national research programmmes. During these programmes she has acquired good knowledge of all the techniques related. Ms Papanagnou has participated in several conferences and she has published articles related to natural products and ageing mechanisms.
