​Dr. Helen Birch is a professor of skeletal tissue dynamics at the Institute of Orthopaedics & Musculoskeletal Science, and senior lecturer at University College London. She is particularly interested in the pathobiology of tendon degeneration in relation to exercise, and the effect of disease and ageing on specific tendons.
