Iryna Pishel was born in 1959. In 1983 she graduated from the biological faculty of the Kiev State University, and began working in the laboratory of Pathophysiology and Immunology Institute of Gerontology AMS Ukraine.
Iryna worked in the field of aging mechanisms of the immune system, defended her PhD and doctoral dissertations. She has been studying the microenvironment of lymphoid organs and its effect on the immune system of older animals, published over 50 articles devoted to the study of the aging mechanisms of the immune system.
Now Iryna works in the field of pharmacology and development of new medicines, and is a representative of the Bienta lab in Enamine corporation.
