Quentin Vanhaelen earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Physics (first class honor) at Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2006. He earned his DEA in Sciences at ULB in 2007. He earned his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics (Grant FNRS–FRIA) at ULB in 2010. During his Ph.D. studies, he developed a big interest in questions related to regenerative medicine. He was a Post-doc fellow in computational and system biology at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI), Ottawa, Canada from 2011 to 2013. He is now at Insilicomedicine Inc. engaged in ageing research with a focus on using DNN for improving in silico drug repurposing algorithms.
