Victor Björk is a student of Molecular Biology at Uppsala University. He serves as the administrative assistant for the Gerontology Research Group (GRG), a non-profit organization dedicated to the study of supercentenarians. He is also a member of various organizations with the goal of extending healthy lifespan such as Heales and LongeCity. He has done internships in the lab of Alexandra Stolzing (Fraunhofer Institute in Leipzig), and in the lab of Alexei Maklakov (Uppsala University). Victor regularly contributes articles to the Longevity Reporter, a pop-sci blog that aims to inform the general public about the latest science on aging and longevity. Finally, he has published a peer-reviewed paper in Frontiers in genetics and advocates life extension research in Swedish media.
